I grew up in Michigan and started hunting with my father at an early age, somewhere around ten years old. I'm now 54 years old and a guide in Maine. Throughout my years of enjoying the outdoors, I have always searched for clothing that would keep me warm and at the same time not cause a person to overheat at the least bit of exertion. Kifaru's PackLock clothing has ended this search for me. 

     I recently hunted for moose in Maine and had a chance to wear the PackLock clothing and found that it kept me very warm when the temperatures dropped. We had some unseasonably warm weather during our midday hunting, and I was happy to note that the PackLock gear didn't overheat me as I hiked around the Maine woods. My deer hunt this year also proved the PackLock clothing performs as promised. I arrived at my hunting stand overlooking a mock scrape early in the morning with temperatures hovering around 30 degrees. While those temps aren't that harsh, remaining comfortable while sitting completely still for several hours has been a challenge in the past. The photo shows the 200-pound, seven-point whitetail that I took on 11/12/08, only because I was comfortable enough to stay on stand in the chilly, early-morning hours of the hunt.

 

     I am completely sold on PackLock clothing and look forward to many comfortable outdoor adventures in the future because of this quality product.
