The Carrying System
All 3 models are built around the outstanding comfort of the DuPlex Frame and Suspension. A flexible contoured internal frame with rigid, aircraft aluminum stays transfers weight to your hips via a custom fitted cupped and contoured waistbelt. Contoured shoulder straps are designed to stabilize the load on your back without slipping. Pack weights of 80 to 100 lbs. are not unreasonable with the LongHunter System. We've experimented with loads of 180 lbs. without damage to the pack, or the person carrying it. Want proof?
