Engineering & Ergonomics: for three decades , we've specialized in crafting a rhino-tough pack that provides the most intelligently engineered load bearing system ever built - small pack or large. The bottom line? More comfort, longevity and efficiency in the field. Click here.
The System: our entire product line functions as a System - fully integrating each pack with another to maximize your versatility and ability to customize your pack for your mission at hand.
Pack Families : we classify our packs by suspension design rather than volume, letting you optimize for your mission needs. Click here to go straight to a comparative chart.

DuPlex Suspension: remove the frame from the EMR or MMR bag, and you've got a lightweight, very strong hauler - thus the dual nature of our DuPlex Suspension. The EMR and MMR are our two load hauling masters for extended field jobs.

EMR (Extended Mission Ruck). Perhaps the most versatile ruck built for long  range missions, the EMR can easily handle obscenely heavy loads.
MMR (Multi  Mission Ruck). Same features and workhorse capabilities as the EMR, but with a shorter frame and smaller bag that can be fielded for most any mission

WrapTech Suspension: amazingly low profile suspension, yet extremely comfortable with any weight load-out. Thesemidsized packs can handle obscene loads when needed.

Navigator. A stealthy mid-sized pack with multi-mission capabilities and PALs webbing inside and out for complete modularity.
ZXR. The Zulu Extreme Ruck is the latest pack in this series and sports all the great features of our Zulu with a WrapTech Plus Suspension.
Pointman. A totally modular 3 day/patrol pack with the most advanced technology available.

Omni Suspension: These packs are delivered without a belt, unless you specify - letting you calibrate the suspension to your specific needs. This also lets these packs ride above a buttpack or belt rig. Add one of four waistbelts, and they are extremely comfortable under very heavy loads due to their sophisticated anatomical construction.

Zulu. An extremely versatile combat ruck.
Marauder. A smaller version of our Navigator, this is a fully featured assault pack complete with  PALS webbing inside and out.
Express. A stealthy, low profile no-PALS pack that offers all day comfort and utility.
MOLLE Express. OUR NEWEST! Low profile and quick, just like the regular Express, but loaded with PALS for more modularity.
XRay.A good "two-day" pack that does much more.
Scout. Sized for light, quick missions, but can mushroom in volume with pockets and pouches.
Tailgunner Series. High performance Lumbar packs that let you easily customize and organize your gear.

E&E - a Pocket & a Pack
The E&E serves as both pocket and quick-ditch e&e pack.

Most military pack makers are not up to speed on the latest pack construction and technology, particularly when it comes to the frames and suspensions. With over 23 years of building packs exclusively, Kifaru is adapting this technology to the military packs.
We strongly encourage you to check out the engineering involved in putting together a cutting edge pack - find out WHY our systems provide more comfort, stability and better performance. Please see Ergonomics.

Mike Miller, snipershide.com
"both of the Kifaru packs tested rode on my back as if loaded twenty pounds lighter than they actually were....in fact they are the best made and designed packs I have tested to date. They have a money back guarantee if you are unhappy for any reason with the pack. If anything ever fails just return it for no cost replacement or repair. You can be sure to see me using Kifaru in the future. These are packs designed by someone who has "Humped a ruck". "

Greetings! Just wanted to pass on that after hunting black Bears in Canada, Brown Bears in Alaska (both successful), I thought I had really given the pack a workout. Not so. I am back for a few days from Afghanistan where I used the pack in basically a stone age environment. I did use the regular issue pack when moving between major locations, but for the real extreme, I used the Kifaru. I can't supply any pictures at this time as they have to be cleared, but I think folks might find them ultimately interesting. The pack is still holding together and if I can't fit what I need into it, then that means I am trying to carry too much. The GunBearer was a great help, and the chair make many hours of sitting on rough ground a little easier. Fortunately I am with an outfit where we are allowed a bit of latitude in our gear to best fit us to where we are at the time. You did a good job Patrick! The damn thing is worth the money.

Going lite is a steep learning curve, I believe scouring over sheep hunting gear, both clothing and equipment would be a good lesson for our Military. For the missions you guys are asked to perform these days, you need to be light and self contained and NO EXPENSE SHOULD BE SPARED to see that objective met. ... If we are going to send our guys in harms way we have a duty to arm and equip them with the very best tools available. Good luck and Godspeed to you and your men. R&R

Back from another lovely trip to the stone age. My Spike Camp* pack performed perfect as usual. My military, external frame pack, broke at the right suspender. As I had my Kifaru strapped to the pack, I just reversed them and stuffed the Kifaru, then strapped the Alice Pack to the back and rested it on the chair. Using the chair, I was able to tote with no problem. The military camo cover fit over both of them no problemo. The seat is a godsend in rocky ground. I normally use the Kifaru, but as we were making a unit move from one place to another I had to have all my gear with me this time. Also, I found the Kifaru really good to use as a support when trying to sleep on a C-130. People complained they could hear me snoring over the engines even! Good job Patrick.
*Note: the Kifaru Pointman is roughly the equivalent in size of our SpikeCamp hunting pack
