DELTA SYSTEM & POWER PULL

All our packs are designed to ride comfortably in your lumbar area, with the weight funneled directly to the waistbelt. This alleviates upper body fatigue and gives you a better range of motion.

Our belts rely on shape and design to give you a good fit, without any hot spots.


		The Power Pull^TM Our exclusive Power Pull lets you bring the pack weight into your lumbar area with a forward pull - this mechanical advantage is much easier and more efficient than a rearward pull.

		The Delta Strap System (patented). Utilizing a triangular pull, the System's four angled straps (from the waistbelt to pack bag) help take weight off your shoulders, and bring the load into your center of gravity - your lumbar area. Simply pull on the two straps - you'll immediately feel the whole bottom portion of the pack snug up into your lower back. This puts tension along the top and bottom of the belt, not through the center, in order to distribute pressure evenly over the belt and keep pressure off the hipbones. The Deltas also dramatically stabilize the load. Proven time and again since 1979 under the Mountainsmith label.

About Ergonomics and Padding. Some of our belts are deceptively thin, but anatomically contoured to eliminate hot spots and spread weight over a large portion of your pelvic area - where you are designed to carry weight. Don't let it fool you... massive padding is NOT necessary to adequately handle large loads - we make absolutely the most comfortable waistbelts ever offered on a military pack.
Construction: Thin foam encased with 1000 D. Cordura for durability.

Unique to Kifaru, some belts can be replaced with larger ones or those with more/less padding - just let us know! Remove these belts altogether and let the pack perform as a shoulder carry pack that can integrate with any butt pack or belt equipment.
