Function & Design

Our Zulu has been so popular that we've designed the Zulu Extreme Ruck for those who need even more capacity. We've created a ruck that is more than just a "bigger" Zulu - we've kept some of the favorite features such as slot pockets, over the top compression straps and extendible top lid. By combining features from the Zulu, Pointman and EMR, and adding even more new features, we feel the ZXR is in a class of its own when it comes to combat rucks.

The ZXR G2 uses our Wraptech suspension which as all the components of the EMR/MMR Duplex suspension (shoulder straps, torso pads, lumbar pad and waistbelt) - but not the removable frame sheet that converts to a hauler.

The ZXR G2 is comfort is due to an anatomical Lumbar Pad with dual density foam and PackLock™ and raised torso pads.
New ITW/Nexus Quick Release shoulder strap buckles eliminate all slippage.

24 inch stays provide great shoulder lift, and added Precision Lift™ just like on the EMR/MMR to adjust your Lifter Strap angle. Also included is an interior hanger for bladders and a snow collar extension.

This double layered pack sandwiches unique Slot Pockets between the PALS panel and the inner bag.  These Slots are designed hold even very long items with security.
- Ideal for water bladders (up to a 100 oz), antennas, PullOuts, etc.
- D-rings in the top of all three for dummy cording items in the Slot Pocket.
- Upper compression strap does double duty to compress pack contents and close the tops of these Slots for security. It's simple and works well.

Your pack will come with aluminum stays unless you opt for our composite stays. Our composite stays maximize weight savings and are ideal for a normally contoured back. Add $40.00 for this upgrade.
