Hi Patrick, I camped this weekend with my Dad at an archery shoot on the foothills of the Alpes. It rained pretty hard the days before and just before we arrived and the ground was very humid, just after we set up the tipi it started raining again.I heated up the stove in the evening, because it got a little cooler and we had a nice and warm tipi. The only small problem was, that a lot of moisture condensated on the tipi walls and dropped down again. I thought that with the stove it would be possible to get the moisture out,if there would be some ventilation windows near the top of the tipi, where no rain can come in,but the moisture can escape with the warm air and condensate outside the tipi. I think about a solution and let you know about the proposed specifications! From: Product: Great Hunting Rifles Date: 2/23/00 Time: 11:33:19 AM Remote Name: 208.226.107.101

Comments Savage makes a great rifle that my Dad started me with at about that age. Their level action .308 is wonderful starter for a youngster. It is short, light, and has a mild kick, but its a big enough round to take deer and possibly an elk (with Dad's help). My father made me hunt with open sight for the first three years, until I had demonstrated the ability to stalk and approach game quietly. This rifle is perfect for that.
