I would bring a second tube and valve and keep it in an inside pocket. Mine froze last year, but I could clear it fairly easily. Fortunately, it didn't stay too cold, or I would have needed to try different tactics.
A spare would solve the problem completely, in a small ziploc bag so you won't get soaked.
