Function & Design
Rip, grab & fire. In one fluid motion, your concealed pistol is out in a flash. In fact, we think the Koala is one of the fastest conceal-carries available, while allowing your handgun to be safe, secure and hidden at all times. Ideal for urban/close quarters work, or great for backcounty insurance as well.

Handgun Panel
The Koala rips right open with one pull on the rip-tab - you DO NOT have to use the zipper pulls.
The zipper pull configuration keeps the pouch securely closed until you yank the rip-tab.

Modular.
Thanks to copious PALS and anchor points, not only will the Koala fit on larger packs or plate carriers as a pocket, it will ACCEPT loads of other pockets, Kifaru or not. See tabbed panes below.

Multiple Use
As an EDC bag (or when not carrying a handgun), the gun compartment fits a 10" computer netbook. It works great as a Go Bag, or mounted on a plate carrier.

Backpackers and hunters:
the Koala (when worn as a chest pouch along with a backpack), allows easy access to all the items you need on the trail without having to get into your pack - and provides instant access to a handgun when confronted by critters with four legs or two. With your handgun concealed, you won't alarm other trail users. Drop your pack and the Koala works great for day hikes away from camp.
Fishermen, especially in Alaska, will like the Koala as a chest pouch. Work out of it for your fishing, and at the same time have a large caliber handgun instantly available for bears. The uses of the Koala are almost endless.

		New Omni/Lumbar waistbelt that Malice clips onto the back of the Koala. Just like an Omni belt, but with a built in lumbar pad. The Delta straps on the waistbelt are equipped with split bar tension lock buckles to attach to the tab loops on the side of the bag. Available in padded or unpadded.
