Hydration carrier: use it as a simple hydration carrier with the shoulder straps only. More real estate than what's currently available in that category - you can always add the stays, shoulder straps and belt later with an optional kit.

Optional Omni Belts
The OmniYoke comes without a waistbelt, allowing it to ride above a buttpack or belt rig, and can drop into your lumbar region for comfort and stability if desired. Carrying extra heavy loads? Add one of four optional waistbelts for added comfort and stability.
They install and remove belts  in a flash, and will be sized to your waist.  These belts are very, very comfortable but very low profile.
