Function & Design
Pods are the simplest, quickest way of attaching large, bulky gear to the outside of your ruck that was not possible before now. Gear that used to suck up precious interior volume can now be stashed onto any PALS grid and are MOLLE compatible. Ideal for sleeping bags, shelter systems, ghillie suits, NBC gear, etc.. Easily segregates messy, muddy stuff, like boots or wet rain gear.

  Zipperless design.
Pods feature a zipperless design - the drawstring closure ensures that it swallows bulky stuff, more easily.
You can attach pockets or pouches that have no attachment system, such as pouches available from other manufacturers (Outdoor Research, etc).

The Dock & Lock attachment system on the front lets you quickly attach the Pods to a ruck and completely compress the contents. PALS provides a broad latitude for adjustment.
Drawcorded opening is securely compressed against the ruck. See pane below.

  Quick and efficient, this System  is a unique way of  docking, locking, and compressing our pockets onto the host pack with just a couple of  maneuvers. Better yet, with a single stroke, you can pop the pouch or pocket off and charge with just the necessities. The D&L's compression/attachment system compacts and stabilizes the pocket  for a rock solid, "sewn-on" feel.
