Three great new hunting packs that deliver massive load hauling coupled with the latest lightweight technologies. Hunter tough, with reknowned Kifaru comfort. Click here for a comparative chart.

Function and design: Timberlines are purpose-built cutting edge packs for on-foot hunters anywhere on earth. They are surprisingly lightweight while offering the very best in load comfort. There are three sizes so you may select which one best suits the duration of your hunt. All will accomodate your optics and any other technical gear in precisely the same at-hand manner. They are built of rugged 500d Cordura--doubled where necessary. The standard frame elements are our proprietary composite stay which are exactly the same strength as the legendary frame components in the rest of our packs but considerably lighter in weight. The Timberlines also feature our new hunting PALS webbing matrix--unique to Kifaru--which allows secure attachment of our many optional pocket add-ons should you need additional capacity.

KU_stay

All Timberlines come standard with our new composite stays are remarkably adept at shaving weight, yet provide hunter-type load sturdiness. Less weight means you go further into the outback with less effort. Aluminum is an option at a discount.
The Timberline 2 and 3 offer INTERCHANGEABLE STAY LENGTHS to optimize shoulder lift, no matter your load out or who wears the pack

Built-in Pockets
Timberlines feature four strategically arranged pockets to securely accomodate all your optics and any other equipment you may need "at hand" from the outside of the pack.

Side Pockets
Two large pockets on the sides of the pack which are specifically built to hold even the largest spotting scopes and tripods. Stabilized by twin compression straps.

  Center Pockets
Sandwiched between the side pockets you will find two horizontal pockets stacked atop each other. Further organize anything you'd like ready-to-hand in these. The lids are designed to open like flaps and provide extemely easy access. There is a bungie cord acroos these twin pockets for compression and extra storage as needed.

Modularity
Lash points on the Timberline body and lid let you add extra capacity by choosing from among the many Kifaru modular pockets and other accessories. Easily add Pockets, Pods, Cargo Chair, Cargo Panel, Grab-It or any such item from our Hunting or Tactical lines, or our Ultralight Pockets using our KU Adapter Kit. Also, the Timberline and Timberline 2 allow you to swap out lids, so that you can add further volumn and utility.

Comfort
Timberlines share the legendary load-hauling comfort one expects from all Kifaru packs. Kifaru pack suspensions handle heavy loads with ergonomic perfection.

Standard Top Lid.
This top lid is standard on your Timberline unless you specify otherwise.
Includes: convenient lash points for all Kifaru Dock & Lock Pockets and Pods as well as your own cordage configurations.

Extreme Top Lid (XTL). A huge hit within our tactical circles, the XTL is more than just a top lid - it's loaded with multifunctional capabilities and extreme modularity so that you can continue to add pockets, Pods, whatever. Remove it from your Timberline, extract the belt and shoulder sling, and you have a great stand-alone day pack. Click here for full details on the XTL.

The top lid is fully featured, letting it work as a stand-alone product.
You can remove the top lid and convert it to a lumbar pack.
Just remove the Pocket and unfurl the waistbelt (stored in its own sleeve). Attach the Delta Straps - they pull the weight into your lumbar area for maximum comfort. Add your GunBearer Cradle for the buttstock.

The shoulder sling (stored inside the Pocket) provides greater stability, and will accept your upper GunBearer Strap. Just load your pack and rifle, and you are all set for a light day's hunt from basecamp.

back profile

Your Timberline will come with our composite stays for maximum weight savings. These are ideal for a normally contoured back.

Folks with "Flat Back" anatomy will need specially contoured aluminum stays that are 5 oz heavier.
Subtract $25.00 off the price, as aluminum is less expensive than our composite stays.

• Never machine wash y our pack - the agitation can damage the waterproof coating.

• Never use bleach.

• To clean, simply sponge bathe with some Woolite and hang dry.

• Be sure to clean any organic materials, such as food or blood that might mildew during storage.

• Never store your pack in directly sunlight (such as a window). UV rays can eventually cause some of the color to fade.
